Jewish Family Jams Series typically last for approximately eight to twelve 45 minute sessions, for which participants register and pay a fee of $100-160. Jewish Family Jam Leaders maintain control of their schedule and session offerings. Some leaders want to offer a single series that meets monthly, committing only a few hours/month, while another leader may wish to offer multiple series daily at different locations to maximize their revenue. Your choice will depend on a variety of factors including your how much time you wish to commit to the endeavor, the size of your Jewish community, the proximity of neighboring Jewish communities, and more.
Earn Jewish Family Jam Leader Certification:
The first step towards Licensing is to complete the initial training online. The start-up training and materials fee is $180 which includes access to training platform, Jewish Family Jams song collection and accompanying activity guide, and 12 physical CDs to distribute to the first dozen families who register for their first Jewish Family Jams series.
At the successful completion of this program applicant will earn Jewish Family James Leader Certification. The applicant will be eligible to become a licensee after successful certification.
*In order to be accepted into training program, applicants agree to a 12 month non-compete agreement, indicating that they will not offer or promote any Jewish music and movement class for children 0-3 and their caregivers (you are, of course, welcome to apply what you learned to your work in a school setting, or offer/continue any secular music and movement program for children 0-3 and their caregivers.)
To Become Licensed Leader:
Certified Jewish Family Jam Leaders are eligible for Licensure. Licensees are responsible for a $36/month or $360/year Licensing fee upon successful completion of certification, at which time all of the licensing benefits will become available. Licensees can put their certification licensure on hold for up to 6 months. In order to maintain license, provide contact information from each of the registrations collected and provide a CD to each family that registers, licensees order those CDs for $100/dozen (plus Shipping).
Jewish Family Jams Certification: Training and Materials without Licensing*
Jewish Family Jam Leader trainings use JFJ materials as a model curriculum but the training is generic enough so that any person wishing to improve their abilities to engage young children and their families in the Jewish community through music can certainly benefit! Jewish Family Jams invites people to apply the approach, theoretical information, songs and activities to their communities, but sure be sure to note that trademark and copyright laws will apply, and the use of the name “Jewish Family Jams” and its’ graphics are prohibited without licensing. While some of the Jewish Family Jams songs have been made commercially available, the entire recorded collection as a set is proprietary and it will be impossible to share them with the families.

Institutional Licensing: Jewish Family Jams Community Program
Schools, community centers, or synagogues who wish to use the JFJ songs and activities can purchase an organizational license for $54/month or $540/annually which includes usage rights, access to Activity Guide Books for all staff, and ability to purchase CDs at $100/dozen (A CD should be distributed to every family participating in the facility’s programming to retain licensing).
